It os named after the Maasai people who have been living in the park for centuries.

The park is famous for having a wide range of animals roaming the park and the Great Migration of Wilderbeest and Thomson’s gazelle as they travel from the Serengeti in Tanzania.

It also hosts the Mara river, in which hippos and crocodiles reside. The park is well known for its predator sightings thanks to large populations of cheetah, leopards and lions.

Lake Nakuru National Park, situated in central Kenya, is known for its thousands strong flocks of Flamingos.

It is a lake paradise that hosts more than 400 species of birds and has a rich diversity of wildlife such as lions, leopards, warthogs and rhinos.
